About Eddie

Eddie is a General Partner with OCA Ventures and has been working at OCA since 2001. Eddie has board responsibilities for Alert Logic, Campus Explorer, Ed-Map, Brickfish, Brill Street, Red Foundry, and National Billing Partners. Prior to OCA Ventures, Eddie was CEO and Founder of PlanetHVAC, a business to business software and service provider to HVAC companies.

Eddie has over 16 years of experience in finance and operations in the US and Asia. Previously, he managed an equity derivative portfolio of over $100 million at the W. I. Carr subsidiary of Credit Agricole Indosuez. In addition, he held a variety of management positions in operations, product management, marketing, and business development at the White-Rodgers Division of Emerson Electric and established White-Rodgers China, Inc., a wholly-owned manufacturing entity.

Eddie holds a MBA and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with honors, from Washington University in St. Louis. Eddie serves on the Board of Advisors to the Olin School Entrepreneurship Program and the DePaul Coleman Entrepreneurship Council. He also co-founded and is a Executive Board Member of a non-proft, Urban Students Empowered Foundation.  In 2010, Eddie was recognized as a Crain 40 Under 40.
